A laundromat runs on hot water. Constantly. And when your hot water supply can't keep up with the demand, you've got a real problem on your hands - unhappy customers, machines not performing right, and a business that can't operate the way it should.

Here's what we were working with: a commercial setup that needed reliable, high-volume hot water without taking up a ton of space. We installed two Navien tankless water heaters, plumbed together with clean copper runs and inline filters on each unit. Both units are set and running at 150°F - exactly what a laundromat needs to get clothes clean and keep machines cycling properly.

The reason we go with tankless in a situation like this comes down to two things: capacity and efficiency. Traditional tank water heaters can run out. Tankless units heat water on demand, so as long as there's a call for hot water, they deliver. Running two units in tandem means even during peak hours, the system has plenty of backup. No lag, no cold cycles, no bottleneck.

The copper pipework and venting all got done right the first time - tight connections, proper support, clean runs. That's not just for looks. In a commercial environment, sloppy plumbing means callbacks and downtime. We don't do either.

Whether you're running a laundromat, a restaurant, or any other business that depends on consistent hot water, the setup matters. Get it right from the start and you won't be thinking about it again for a long time.
